1)  What's in it for our company?

There are many benefits to sponsoring a garden at an RHS Flower Show.  Now that gardening is firmly established as a national hobby, more companies from outside the world of horticulture are discovering that RHS Flower Shows can work well for them in delivering a high return on investments made in activities undertaken at these prestigious events.

2)  Will sponsoring this show increase our sales?

In previous years Outer Spaces and its Sponsoring companies have seen a definate increase in clients.

3)  Is there a way for our employees to get involved?

Sponsors will be not be expected to contribute to any organisation or construction works but are invited to visit the garden during this process.  Once the garden is complete, there is the option for your employees to 'man' the garden and distribute any literature promoting the garden and its sponsors.  If Sponsors wish to use the garden for sales and marketing representatives to work from, distributing literature, collecting research data, or just talking to prospective clients - these are all possible options. 

4)  Is there an opportunity for business to business marketing?

5)  Is there a target audience and product fit?

The garden has been designed for a young couple living in the city centre, with a busy work schedule.  'Green Living' provides an urban retreat that disguises the city environment and transforms its occupants to their very own green oasis.  The garden is exhibiting in the 'Chic Garden' catagory, but this particular design can be adapted to various urban situations - a courtyard, or roof garden for example.

Visitors to the show do not have to be a replicate the requirements of specified occupants that the garden was designed for, as there are many features within the garden for individuals to pick out and relate to.  Therefore attracting an extensive range of viewers to the plot.

6)  Is there a solid PR campaign in place?

7)  Do we have flexibility?

As a Sponsor there is flexibility within the roll you can play.  As previously mentioned, you can be involved as much or as little as required.  Although any design and construction matters should be left to the exhibiting company Outer Spaces. 

8)  Are there complimentary tickets or items available?

As Exhibitors or Sponsors there are an allocated number of complimentary tickets to the show, any further hospitality can also be arranged prior to the show.

9)  How much do we have to do?

The best way to get involved in an RHS Show is to produce or back one of the show gardens.  For many visitors these astonishing examples of garden design, planting and construction are the highlight of the Shows - and they certain attract a big share of the media and the specific attention of all the vistors.

All of the design and construction work will be organised by the Project Manager - Phillippa Probert (Outer Spaces).  Sponsoring companies shall certainly be kept in the loop as much or as little as they would like.

Sponsors will be not be expected to contribute to any organisation or construction works but are invited to visit the garden during this process.  On completion of the garden, Sponsors are then given the option to assist in 'manning' stand, and promoting the garden and obviously themselves.  If Sponsor requirements include sales and marketing representatives working from the garden, distributing literature, collecting research data, or just talking to prospective clients - these are all possible options.  On the opposite end of the scale, Sponsors do not have to attend the garden on show days if they do not wish, as Outer Spaces representatives shall be on site at all times.

10)  Does this company have a good reputation with other sponsors?

Outer Spaces have built three prior show gardens at RHS Flower Show events (2005-2007).  Garden Designer, Phillippa Probert, has previously been awarded Bronze, Silver Gilt and Gold medals for her show garden designs at the RHS Tatton Park Show.  During this we have established good working relationships with various Sponsors including:  Organic Stone, Bigger Plant Co. Ltd, Marshalls, Specialist Aggregates, Aqualife Ltd, Corfe Stone, Bartholomew Contempories, Bromborough Paints....  Many of which have been involved in each of the prior show garden projects.

11)  Is this a one off or is it annual?

As previously mentioned the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is a huge event in the horticultural diary, and takes place annually.  Outer Spaces have been involved in the RHS Tatton Park Flower show the past three years, and will be attending the show again this July with both a 'Back to Back Garden' and one of the main 'Show Gardens' (each separately sponsored).  Therefore if you feel that the RHS Flower Show events have helped deliver a high return on investments, there is definately an option for you to be involved in future projects.  If you would like further information on sponsoring a garden in the North West, at the Tatton Park Show, please contact Phillippa Probert). 

12) Are we being offered industry exclusively so that we have a competitve edge?

The 'Green Living' garden as been designed as a modern and innovative place to  work, rest or participate in artisitic hobbies, containing up to date features that are relavant in making the most of an urban space.  This garden is unique and stands out from the other exhibits.  The other exhibiting designs can be viewed be on the RHS website:  www.rhs.org.uk
