August:

Garden design and planting plan finalised, and submitted to the RHS. 

October:

Start contacting potential Product Sponsors and introducing design as a possible entry for the RHS Chelsea Flower.

November:

'Green Living' garden design accepted for the 'Chic Garden' category at the RHS Chelsea Flower in May 2008.

December:

Start contacting Product Sponsors, Contractors and Suppliers to confirm our orders and presence at the show. 

Meetings held with plant suppliers allowing plenty of time for the chosen list to be checked, altered and confirmed - orders placed, and plants brough on in time for the May show.

January:

Contractor discussions involving construction methods, materials to be used and general 'on site requirements'.  Schedule of works produced.  Accommodation booked, and team selected.

Meetings with Sinter Studio taking place, Mosaic designs selected and amterials agreed.

Visit to Aqualife to select water plants, check selection, alter and confirm - order placed.

February:

Continue contacting potentional Sponsors.

Website built to help show the gardens true potential.

General organisation of the garden, and material selection.

Plot allocated and slight construction changes required.

Late February, plot changed and re-allocated.

Construction meetings - pond and island construction, water feature discussions, pumps etc.

March:

Experiments to finalise required pump sizes, and materials to create the desired look for the water features.

Supports made to hold the plastic tubing, and stabilise the pumps

Mock up of living wall to ensure construction method is suitable.
